With more than 15 years of senior management experience in healthcare staff scheduling, Pickard has particular expertise in implementing staff scheduling processes in enterprise-wide environments. She has held key management positions in product development, customer support and sales at Atwork Corporation, Per-Se Technologies, and MSI Software.

As Atwork vice president, Pickard was responsible for day-to-day operations, including product development, support and implementation. Her career fast-tracked from installation consultant to account manager to product manager to vice president of staff scheduling. Under her leadership, Atwork released the industry's first enterprise-wide staff scheduling system.

Pickard also served as vice president of customer support at Per-Se Technologies, where she directed all implementation and support activities for the company's staff and patient scheduling products. As vice president of new business development at MSI Software, she was responsible for developing new business relationships in the hospital marketplace.

Pickard is a sought-after speaker on a variety of healthcare staff issues at many national venues, including the annual HIMSS conference and nursing conferences. She received a BS degree in nursing at Duke University.
