Location: Durham, NC
Position Summary: This is an inside sales position primarily calling on radiologists, anesthesiologists, and cardiologists selling the market leading automated call scheduling solution. Due to recent growth, we are expanding our sales team to meet market demand. This is a volume based sales position in a fast paced environment where meeting/exceeding your team quota is the key to success. Account Executives ("AE") will spend the majority of their time acquiring new software and professional service sales from prospective and existing customers by cold calling, directing and participating in online demonstrations, managing incoming leads, and traveling when necessary. The AE is expected to maintain contact and sales details within our corporate CRM, submit weekly reports, and participate in team meetings. The AE may represent the organization at industry trade shows and company sponsored events.
We are searching for candidates who currently sell an enterprise software product-focus on healthcare is a plus. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and the ability to direct demonstrations to a variety of group sizes. An understanding of how physician organizations and hospital departments are structured is a plus but not a requirement. Candidate should be comfortable with on-the-job training and participating in group training sessions. Bachelor's degree required with at least 2 years of credible/documented sales experience in a business-to-business environment. Candidate must be willing to travel 15%-20% or as needed.
Description:
- Acquire new software and professional service sales from current and new customers.
- Quota carrying position, volume-based business, fast-paced environment.
- Prospect for new business sales (this includes cold calling), maintain contact details within corporate CRM, and submit weekly reports.
- Management of sales process including online, onsite, and group presentations designed to showcase software feature/functions to a clinical, administrative, and technical audience.
- Represent organization at industry trade shows and company sponsored events.
Qualifications:
- Experience selling enterprise software systems within the healthcare market-focus on selling to physicians is a plus.
- Requires excellent communication skills-demonstrated ability to present to large/small groups, manage sales process at various levels, and assume a consulting sales approach when necessary.
- Understanding of hospital and physician environments including relationship between physician organizations, departments, and purchasing.
- Minimum two (2) years documented sales experience required.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Ability to travel 15%-20% and as needed.
