To ensure that healthcare organizations have the correct staffing levels to support positive outcomes, ClairVia Demand Manager tracks patients, and their associated needs, at each point in time and at each location during their hospital stay.
Characteristics of each patient, or acuity levels, are closely matched to the associated required caregiver hours and skill mix. Patient outcomes are also directly linked to matching the patients' needs with the characteristics of the caregiver team, and caregiver competencies.
In assigning patients to caregivers, ClairVia includes the bed location, acuity level and required hours per patient shift. Assignments reflect the caregiver team's cumulative hours of care provided so that patients with varying time needs are appropriately deployed across caregiver teams.
Using simple drag-and-drop actions, nursing teams are easily matched with patients. As patients are assigned, the total acuity score, hours used and hours available are calculated, supportive safe staffing decisions.
